There are many ways to support Williamwood Pipe Band. Obviously coming along to competitions is a great lift for the players. But getting to these competitions, maintaining instruments and uniform is not cheap. The band is funded currently through yearly subscriptions from members and fundraising - ceilidhs, performances, sponsored events, etc. This covers the general running of the band, however, developing young players and integrating them into the main bands, means more instruments and more uniforms - this means more money! Even something as simple as coming along to a ceilidh or two makes a big difference.

The band is now registered with easyfundraising.org.uk as a means of providing a small but steady income flow from members, friends and supporters. They provide a FREE service where you can shop with your favorite online stores and at no extra cost raise funds for Williamwood Pipe Band. You still shop directly with each retailer as you would normally, but simply by using the links from the easyfundraising site first, each purchase you make will generate a cashback donation to the band. Donations to the band vary depending on the retailer. For example, spend £25 with WH Smith and 3.5% will be donated. You will have raised £0.88, at no extra cost to your purchase. Make any purchase from Amazon and 2.5% will be donated. Insure your car with Direct Line and raise £30.00, or purchase a mobile phone from O2 and earn £17.50, and so on. You can shop with 500+ Brand Name retailers and to raise funds you just use the links from their site first, flights. Holiday’s, clothes, i-tunes, etc, etc - it's that simple!

If you ALREADY shop online, why not help the band at no extra cost from purchases you would make anyway? Please consider the option.

If the concept appeals but you do not relish the idea of committing to another internet account (the account registration and usage is easy and completely free). Simply register at easyfundraising.or.uk and select Williamwood Pipe band as you chosen cause. Everytime you shop on the internet simply log in to the site and shop as normal.
